Today Manchester United face the “Euroteam”, whatever that is supposed to mean. Anyway, the match is played due to the 50-year old “memory” of the Rome treaty as well as the fact that Manyoo (unfortunately) has played 50 years in European competition.

With the squad looking like the one below, I’d definately play the following line-up:

Casillas
Zambrotta – Carradona – Puyol – Maldini
Gerrard (C)
Juninho
Mancini (where the hell is Messi?) – Ibra – Ronaldinho
Larsson

Keepers: O. Kahn (Bayern München), G. Coupet (Lyon), I. Casillas (Real Madrid)
Defenders: P. Maldini (Milan), J. Carragher (Liverpool), E. Abidal (Roma), L. Thuram (Barcelona), C. Puyol (Barcelona), M. Materazzi (Inter), F. Grosso (Inter), G. Zambrotta (Barcelona)
Midfielders: S. Gerrard (Liverpool), Juninho (Lyon), F. Malouda (Lyon), L. Miguel (Valencia), G. Gattuso (Milan), A. Pirlo (Milan)
Attackers: Ronaldinho (Barcelona), Ronaldo (Milan), A. Mancini (Roma), Z. Ibrahimovic (Inter), H. Larsson (Helsingborg).

I don’t know, it might just be me because I’m swedish, but Larsson would kick Ronaldo out of the starting eleven anyday, right? And Carradona would kick both Materazzi and Thuram out too, right? Captain Fantastic would OF COURSE be the captain, right? C’mon Aftonbladet, Mancini is a winger, not an attacker. Speaking of midfielders, there’s no chance in the world of Daniel “sidepass” Andersson doing a good job as the replacement for Tobias Linderoth in the upcoming Sweden game. Of course Källström should play in the anchor role with Svensson ahead of him, will there even be an argument regarding this matter?
