These type of sites exists because of Google Maps and its Street View feature. However, this is of course not harvesting in a business kind of way (at least not in true sense) but rather enhancing the experience of the users.

There are already a couple of classics, these would include the couple who got married on street view, or just a bunch of weird people doing weird things. Gotta love street view!
