Late bloom bloopers – Harry Potter is dead!

Hilarious but sad. Through Media Culpa I got the news that Harold Pinter, the literature Nobel Prize winner from 2005 had passed away. So what’s so hilarious about that? Well, with his death – nothing really. However, when Swedish Radio (SR) reported about it, they accidentally (or unconsciously) turned Pinter into Potter, yes – as in Harry Potter.

“The British writer and dramatist Harry Potter is dead, it was announced today. Potter received the Nobel Prize in literature in 2005. He wrote about 30 plays and more than 20 screenplays. He was 78 years old.”

Gröna tunnelbanelinjen

Ett par ~20 sitter på sätena bredvid varandra på tunnelbanan. Tjejen har suttit och smsat ett bra tag och killen försöker lönlöst fånga hennes uppmärksamhet genom att nafsa henne i örat, leka med hennes hår och smeka henne på halsen. Till slut lägger han huvudet på hennes axel och suckar. Han borrar in ansiktet i hennes kofta och rör kärleksfullt huvudet fram och tillbaka. Tjejen tittar irriterat upp från mobilen.

Tjejen: Vad fan gör du? Sitter du och torkar av snor på min kofta?

Today the founders of YouTube were suppose to stop by the Dublin office. Everyone was in the canteen and the double screens were set up, unfortunately they couldn’t make it as some other meeting ran late. What did we do instead? We watched two YouTube videos of course!
