With Cissé now going to Marseille permanently and Bellamy off to West Ham (how could anyone pay £7.5M for him?) it seems that the signing of Benayoun will be completed pretty soon. More interestingly is that the next big signing for the Reds could actually be Ryan Babel, the dutch U21. Even though he’s reported as “a left winger” on most sports site, I still think he’s to be considered best as a striker, I sure hope he isn’t the next Cissé, a good striker that gets completely lost on a wing. People seem more interested in comparing Babel to Henry than to Cissé however, but that’s probably just a load of crap.

In other interesting news, it seems that Manchester United will continue their BIG spending spree (Anderson, Hargreaves and Nano) with Carlos Tevez. Talk about a shocker for the Hammers if it goes through.
