Went to see the new Zack Snyder movie entitled Watchmen yesterday. We had really high expectations because of what he previously managed to do with 300.

Without giving a full review, all I can say is that it comes highly recommended by yours truly! Check out the trailer (HQ applies) if you’re wondering whether it’s worth the effort.

I’ll leave the ‘boobs’ up there for awhile, but redirect the domain here. After all, ‘boobs’ is part of my life now.

It turned out alright! Ronan over at Ronanshotme.com made me model for him today at work. I don’t know what this will be used for, but I’m guessing it’s one of his ‘secret projects’ that makes him sneak around work with a camera some days. 

Just came back from the cinema. We went to see the new Bond movie Quantum of Solace which was a real action-extravaganza movie, what Daniel Craig lacks in class – he certainly makes up with his fists. Quantum of Solace is co-written by Paul Haggis who also wrote Crash, which makes the story surprisingly thin. I know it’s a Bond movie, and that there may be little room for playing around, but it still comes up oddly ‘short’.

The synopsis on IMDB: “Seeking revenge for the death of his love, secret agent James Bond sets out to stop an environmentalist from taking control of a country’s water supply.”

The second part of this sentence is what really disturbs me, “an environmentalist taking control of a country’s water supply”, c’mon! What happend to the Russians that just wanted to mess around and blow up the world with nuclear for monetary fame? It is almost too right, and too perfect for our time if you ask me.

But still. Bond is always Bond, and action is always action. I enjoyed it.

I can highly recommend the purchase that Keith walked away with, two Sky Challenger Copters armed with infrared to shoot each other down. It’s made the Sunday chill into mayhem in the mansion, check out the video I found on YouTube. You’ll be sorry if you don’t buy them!

Men det gick bra, de fick ett par generella genomgångar och en massa socker i form av godis och läsk som finns i alla minikök. Vi visade stolt upp alla flaggskepp; spelrummen, biljardborden, fussbollspelen osv. det verkade som om det bet, för den enda frågan som kom upp hela tiden var “hur kan ni faktiskt få något jobb gjort här?” – total hjärntvättning med andra ord. Jag hoppas de diggade det, de flesta verkade gilla att gå förbi YouTube, det är en såndär typisk grej som 15-18 åringar inte vet att Google äger och ännu mindre att man faktiskt kan jobba med det.

Sparre var förövrigt på kombinerad språk och studiebesöksresa, det är en av Mattes (tjaaa, vad är det moderna ordet egentligen? Bonussöner?) kids som pluggar där.

Fan vad bra jag trivs i nya lägenheten, den är grym.

Var ett tag sen jag skrev något, har fan inte haft tid eftersom jag jobbat sjukt mycket senaste tiden, mycket annat som har blivit lidande. Ska bli grymt skönt att dra till Thailand, 1½ månad kvar ungefär, nice!

Senast jag flög tillbaka till Dublin lyckades jag med bedriften att glömma mitt pass hemma hos morsan och farsan, fick springa i panik till polisstationen som låg precis över gatan från Skavsta (tur att jag flög med Ryan) och fixa ett temporärt pass, 980 pix senare checkade jag in utan problem. Det där fick mig att fundera lite, det var ju givetvis värt 980 pix för att överhuvudtaget få komma hem, men samtidigt så kunde jag inte hålla mig från att fråga passkontrollanten hur många temporära pass de ungefär gör om dagen. Svaret jag fick var ganska chockerande men egentligen inte speciellt överraskande; de utfärdar mellan 15-25 temporära pass om dagen – bara hos polisen på Skavsta flygplats. För den som inte fattat vad jag vill säga så ger 15x980x365 respektive 25x980x365, 5.365.500 samt 8.942.500 kronor. Polisen i Skavsta drar alltså in mellan 5 till 9 miljoner om året (minus vissa dagar som givetvis inte kan räknas som ‘vanliga resedagar’) på att idioter som jag själv glömmer passet hemma, hur sjukt är det inte? Det sjukaste är även att det tar ungefär 5 minuter att utfärda ett temporärt pass, så det är inte direkt världens arbetsinsats heller…

På lördag flyger jag hem igen, kommer att vara i Stockholm lördag-onsdag, ska hålla lite presentationer i veckan så jag passar på att sticka hem på lördag. Jäkligt mysko det här med SAS och deras avgångar, måste säga att det inte bara är priset som är bra med Ryan, det är inte konstigt att SAS ekonomi blöder som ett skärsår efter en cykelvurpa. Jag kollade först att åka hem på fredag givetvis, men SAS erbjöd bara avgångar under 3500 enkel resa (bara det) på lördag, och då gick det dessutom tre avgångar klockan 11, eller 11:20. Märkligt.

Igår och idag har jag kollat på lägenheter med Greken och Keith, vi ska bli sambos i slutet av månaden är tanken. Idag hittade vi nog vårt mansion, en rätt fet lägenhet precis mitt emot kontoret (Rockband finns alltid nära tillhands) med läcker utsikt, balkong och i skön storlek. 22 papp i månaden kommer kalaset att gå på, förmodligen värt varenda krona. Annars sägs det att bostadsmarknaden håller på att krascha här, det byggs för mycket och efterfrågas för lite. Fast å andra sidan hänger det nog ihop med att det byggs tamefan precis överallt i den här stan …

But with this, everything is working fine. They didn’t even format the disc even though it’s standard procedure for most of these things, and for that I’ll always be grateful!

Thanks HP, you actually did your homework. Even though this time was good, I hope I never ever must contact you again.

Email status after repairs: 368 unread email to the personal address. God. I can only imagine what the backlog on the work email will be after next weeks vacation.

När Ryanair ungefär 20 minuter senare ska försöka rädda sig själva meddelar de igen att “anledningen till förseningen är att vi tyvärr inte har något plan för tillfället”, ursäkta? Var det inte på en flygplats jag var? Och var inte Ryanair ett flygbolag? Inga-plan-frågetecken-utropstecken.

Det enda positiva var ju att jag fick se hela Spanien – Italien, super succé att det var försenat med andra ord. Det var dock inte lika skönt att somna runt 3 och gå till jobbet i snålblåst vid 9 snåret. Brrr.. Dublin var Dublin igen. Juste, köpte ett kilo Turkisk Peber också. Mumsfillibabba.

I didn’t think the game would present more action then that, but it went on and went on in the same “gung-ho” tempo. Liverpool (and Arsenal) fans might have wondered what happened to Torres, we hadn’t seen him or Gerrard (due to the latter playing on the left wing) for the entire game, but in the 69th minute the Spaniard showed his magic, quick turn around from Senderos (this time really living up to the Donkey label) – top corner finish – 2-1! At that stage it pretty much looked like that was going to be the final result, Arsenal didn’t see much of the ball and when they did – Mascherano took it back (and Alonso played it away, but that’s another story) in fashion.

But then in the 84th minute out of the blue, Theo Walcott – age: 18 takes the ball in his own half, beats 4-5 Liverpool players and crosses for Adebayor that makes it 2-2 = Arsenal are through on away goals. That SURELY had to be it was the hunch I got, sure we’ve had much of the ball, but for what use? I could just see the oneliners that Benitez would say after the game “we couldn’t convert even though we were superior” – this time actually being right, compared to the other 200 times he seemed to have watched another game.

I don’t know, it seems like such a cliché, but again “you’re as most vulnerable after scoring” became true, Babel challanged the Arsenal defence and boom – penalty. I might be Liverpool, but surely a penalty. But I can see the headlines coming from Wenger this time “how could this be a penalty, where was the ref. in the 1st leg?” – when Hleb went down = the most obvious penalty I’ve seen in a long time were the ref was actually standing 2 meters from the situation.

Captain Fantastic took the responsibility needed, 3-2 Liverpool. The rest of the game was pretty much a frenzia against the clock, and when Babel was left in a 1on1 sprint against Fabregas to make i 4-2 I was so relieved. But again, thanks for the show! English football is surely the best in the world. Now, most likely we’re going to have three English teams in the semis, what an achievement – only Barca can ruin the dreams, I’m pretty confident Schalke won’t be trouble.

And hey, Liverpool-Chelsea again. God I hate Chelsea.

I just removed the label from my new Gerrard Liverpool shirt, I wonder what I’m going to wear to work tomorrow?
