I wouldn’t call it a dream move, but appearently Jose Antonio Reyes is very happy to have signed a four year contract with Atletico Madrid. The reason for this not being a dream move in my eyes is of course that Reyes spent the last season (on loan from Arsenal) at Real Madrid, it’s one of those moves that “no one should take”. However, since he wasn’t owned by Real, the Madrid fans might go a little bit easier on him ..

Reyes joined Arsenal from Sevilla in January 2004 and made a total of 110 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 23 goals.

This is definately not one of the best moves from a Swedish standpoint during this silly season. Captain Freddie Ljungberg is set to join a deal with West Ham after reports saying that Arsenal has confirmed a £3.5M transfer deal. Freddie himself won’t be too upset though, 5.7M euros per year for a thirty year old player that always is injured sounds good. Bad move Hammers, bad move.
